Australia cricketer Cameron Bancroft is all set for another stint with Durham after being re-signed as an overseas player for the 2020 season by the English county side on Monday (September 23).
The 26-year-old joined Durham in all formats for 2019 and impressed one and all with his show in England after he had served a nine-month ban for his role in the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
The wicketkeeper-batsman captained the county side in both the County Championship and the One-Day Cup before being called up by Australia for Ashes 2019.

He will be available for Durham across the formats of the game, although, the club is yet to confirm whether or not Bancroft will continue as captain in the upcoming season.
Durham's director of cricket Marcus North confirmed the re-signing: “We are delighted to welcome Cameron back to Emirates Riverside for our 2020 season.”

North continued, “He has had a huge impact on the field with his leadership and undoubted quality through his performances. Cameron has also had an impact off the field as an ambassador for the club with a number of community projects.”
Noteworthy, Bancroft scored 726 runs at an average of more than 45 in the County Championship and added 377 runs at 94.25 in the one-day competition for Durham.
