An ironic incident happened during the Lok Sabha election earlier this year when the Election Commission ambassador Rahul Dravid couldn't caste the vote. Dravid's name was missing from the list.
But now he is eligible to vote again in future elections. His name has been added in the Malleswaram assembly constituency. The former India captain had shifted houses from Indiranagar to Ashwathnagar, and that's why his name was missing. As reports say, Dravid was himself responsible for this as he failed to submit the Form 6 meant for the re-including name in voters'list in time.

According to a report in the Times of India, documents accessed showed that Dravid and his wife's names were present in the updated voter's list. Roopa J, the assistant revenue officer completed the procedure as it was felt that ensuring his name was present in the list is the responsibility of the electoral staff's duty due to his position as the brand ambassador.
