Lungi Ngidi loves the Lungi Dance
Lungisani or Lungi Ngidi captivated the minds of cricket lovers with his amazing Test debut against India in 2018 where he picked a five-wicket haul and was named Man of the Match. His ability to compliment Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel in that series led to him being signed by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2018 as well and won the tournament with them.Since then, he had gained quite a fan following on social media especially from fans asking him if he has seen or danced to Hindi song, "Lungi Dance", from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express.
He admitted to listening to the song during his IPL stint and said that he was loving the song and even danced to the song in a video that went viral.
Ngidi took his love for the song to the next level recently. Netflix India asked their fans on Twitter a trivia question “How many times do you hear "Lungi Dance" in the chorus of Lungi Dance? Asking for a friend. #ChennaiExpress”
To this, many fans gave their answers, but the best answer came from Ngidi himself who tweeted, “14!”.
