England all-rounder Moeen Ali, on Friday (September 6), announced his comeback to form in style, hitting his maiden T20 century for Worcestershire Rapids in the Vitality T20 Blast Quarter-Final against Sussex Sharks at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove.

His stunning knock of unbeaten 121 off just 60 balls, hitting eight fours and 11 sixes helped the Worcestershire to beat Sussex by massive 8 wickets to steer to side to the semi-finals of the T20 Blast to be played on 21 September in Birmingham.

Coming to bat at No.3 after opener Joe Leach was removed by Reece Topley with the score on 2 of the chase, the skipper Moeen showed his brilliance with the bat, scoring a ton, as well as, added crucial 177-runs with Riki Wessels (47) to help the Worcestershire secure a berth for the semi-finals.

Since his ouster from England's Test squad after the first Test of the ongoing Ashes 2019, Moeen has been impressive for Worcestershire, as the left-hander’s scores read 85*, 23, 51 and 121* in the ongoing Vitality T20 Blast.

Noteworthy, Moeen’s white-ball form is quite impressive, but when it comes to red-ball, the all-rounder managed just one fifty in his last 16 Test innings for England with the last of his five Test centuries came way back in December 2016, resulting he was dropped from the national squad.
