Indian cricket fraternity sends birthday wishes to Mohammad Shami as he turns 29

Shami recently got to 150 Test wickets during the 2nd Test against West Indies.

Indian pacer Mohammad Shami turned 29 today after completing a whitewash in the Test series against West Indies in the Caribbean. The Indian cricketing fraternity took to Twitter to wish the speedster a very happy birthday and wished him well for his future.

Shami is a mainstay in the current Indian team and has surprised many by his improvement in the fitness aspect of the game. Formerly a vulnerable bowler to injuries, he has gained an amazing level of fitness and now has the ability to bowl long spells whenever the team requires him to bowl.

The Bengal pacer has over 150 Test wickets in 42 matches and over 130 wickets in 70 ODIs at an average of under 30 in both formats. He has played just 7 T20Is for the Indian team and has picked up 8 wickets. He is only the second Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in a World Cup match.
