Elevation of Rahul Dravid to role as director of cricket at the NCA in Bangalore has prompted the BCCI to appoint Sitanshu Kotak and Paras Mhambrey as leaders of India's coaching staffs at the 'A' and U-19 levels, respectively.

Kotak, a domestic cricket veteran from Saurashtra, has been announced head coach and batting coach of the India 'A' team. He has Ramesh Powar, the former India off-spinner, in support as the bowling coach and T Dilip as the fielding coach.

These appointments have been made for the upcoming 'A' series at home against South Africa only.

Just as, ex-India fast bowler Mhambrey, who previously worked for long with the 'A' and Under-19 sides under Dravid, will be the head coach as well as the bowling coach of the junior side for the upcoming Asia Cup in Colombo this September.

Mhambrey will have former India batsman Hrishikesh Kanitkar and Abhay Sharma in support as batting and bowling coaches, respectively.

As per a report in ESPNcricinfo, Mhambrey and Abhay will remain members of Dravid's permanent staff at the NCA but serve elsewhere, like with the U-19 side, as per requirements.
