Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has been picked in Mumbai's 15-man squad for the upcoming 'Bapuna Cup' to be held in Nagpur.
Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) announced the roster on its website this Monday (August 26) and the 19-year-old Arjun has been selected to play under the captaincy of senior pro Suryakumar Yadav.
Bapuna Cup, a pre-season tournament annually organised by the Vidarbha Cricket Association, to be played in the 50-over format, begins from September 5.
Arjun, fine prospect as a left-arm seamer, was previously picked for Rs 5 lakh to play the T20 Mumbai League.
He has occasionally been seen bowling in the nets at England and India international batsmen as well.
