Jos Buttler is one of the most exciting batsmen in world cricket today. The man who helped England lift their first-ever 50-over World Cup trophy has been in news thanks to his ability to change games single-handedly with the bat. He was the foremost lynchpin in Morgan’s new-look England side which has dominated ODI cricket in the last 2-3 years.
Buttler will now be seen in the Ashes 2019, as he was named in the England squad for the five-match series against Australia, as the home side strives for reclaiming the urn. They have history on their side, as England have not lost a home Ashes series since 2001 and though they were given a pretty huge scare by Ireland in their one-off Test at Lord’s; the three Lions are ready for the Kangaroos.
Meanwhile, Buttler recently took to Instagram to share an image which seems to be close to his heart. The image was uploaded onto his Insta stories and he revealed the autographed shirts of his two cricketing heroes in South Africa’s AB de Villiers and New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum. The shirts are from the ICC World Cup 2015 were both McCullum and De Villiers lit the stage of fire with their explosive batting antics.
