World Cup-winning England captain Eoin Morgan is going to be a part of the Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League. The English captain's inclusion in the side was confirmed on Sunday by franchise officials.

"We have signed Morgan for the upcoming edition of BPL considering his vast experience in shorter format cricket," Dynamites chief executive Obaid Nizam told Cricbuzz. "We are expecting him to be available for the whole season."

Dynamites already have renowned T20 players like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, and Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai. However, it's not clear whether Morgan will be picked to lead the side or not, considering Dhaka has Bangladesh stalwart Shakib-Al-Hasan, who led them to BPL title in 2016. 

"We have to think about it(captaincy) because you know we have Shakib with us and he is leading the side for quite some time," Nizam said.

In the recently concluded World Cup, Morgan had set a new world record of 17 sixes in an individual one-day international inning against Afghanistan.
