The WWE Chief Operating Officer (COO) Triple H (Paul Levesque), gifted the England cricket team a customized WWE Championship belt as the Lions became the World Champions.  

Triple H lauded the competition this tournament produced and was impressed with the performance by the English team and called them the deserving winner of the event. His tweet read, "An incredible tournament, an awe-inspiring final, and a team of worthy champions. Congratulations to @EnglandCricket for winning the ICC Men's @CricketWorldCup 2019! This custom @WWE Championship is YOURS! @WWEUK."

England beat New Zealand in the final in a thriller. The Englishmen were given the title after a couple of ties, and the boundary count rule went in their favor. 

Not the first time WWE COO has sent the championship belt to a cricket team. Earlier, he had gifted Rohit Sharma a WWE belt after he led Mumbai Indians to their fourth IPL title victory.
