South Africa becomes no.2 ranked Test team after whitewashing Pakistan 3-0

South Africa won the third Test against Pakistan at Jo'Burg by 107 runs.

South Africa whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in Test series and became the no.2 ranked Test team | GettySouth Africa have leapfrogged England and New Zealand to become the no.2 ranked Test team, after beating Pakistan in the 3rd Test at Johannesburg by 107 runs and winning the series 3-0.

South Africa has gained four points to reach 110 points, two points above England in the list led by India (116 points), who recorded their historic first ever Test series win in Australia by 2-1.

Meanwhile, Pakistan slipped to the seventh position, behind Sri Lanka, with 88 points to their name. New Zealand is one point behind England at 107 points. England will have to win their upcoming three-match series against the Windies starting on 23 January to remain ahead of New Zealand.
