Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is eager to play for the Indian Test team. He has a dream to play for India in whites. Chahal also spoke on the current Indian Test specialist spinners, Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin. The leggie doesn't want to be compared with them as he believes they are more experienced with them.

"They both have proved their mettle in last 7-8 years and we have a long way to go," said the leg-spinner.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is just months away and players have started to prove their worth to be in the Indian World Cup squad. On his chances for the major tournament, Chahal said he and Kuldeep Yadav have better bets of making it into the Indian squad.

"If you go by our performance in the last one year, we stand a good chance and obviously we are contenders for a WC spot. But it is still a long way to go and I am not thinking about it as before that we have matches scheduled against Australia, New Zealand and then we have the IPL," he added.

Chahal has been included in the limited-overs squads for the upcoming series against Australia and New Zealand.

Commenting on his partnership with Kuldeep Yadav he said having a chat with each other during matches makes it easy for both of them to bowl and understand the pitch better.

"Both of us consult each other and that makes things easy," he said.

Chahal recently played red-ball cricket after 2 years against South Africa A. He wants to break into the Indian Test side soon. "I am working towards it and it is a dream to play Test matches for India," he signed off.
