Left-hand batsman Ben Duckett features in England Lions' 15-man squad for each of the red as well as white ball encounters against India A, scheduled to take place during winter months of January and February in 2019.
Nottinghamshire cricketer Duckett, who last played Test and ODI cricket for England during the winter of 2016, was out of favour from the selectors ever since being reprimanded for pouring a drink over veteran fast bowler James Anderson's head in a bar in Perth when Lions met up with England's Ashes squad during the 2017-18 season.
Duckett was fined and suspended for the rest of the Lions tour before being given a final warning. He subsequently didn't get picked for Lions squad during the summer or for their away series against Pakistan A in the UAE last month. But was allowed to play for Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in the recently concluded Mzansi Super League.
The 24-year-old has now been rewarded into the second strings on the back of some really fruitful performances in the domestic circuit.
Meanwhile, fast-bowlers Tom Bailey and Zak Chappell from Lancashire and Nottinghamshire, respectively, have been included for the two unofficial Tests, while Notts spinner Matt Carter has been selected for the List A side.
The squad for unofficial Tests also includes off-spinner Dom Bess and batsman Ollie Pope, who both made their debuts for England last summer against Pakistan and India respectively.
