Hard work paid off for Krunal Pandya as he has been named in India's T20I squad for both West Indies and Australia series. Apart from him, Washington Sundar and Shahbaz Nadeem are also included in the 15-man squad.
Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder is delighted with the news. However, Pandya isn't in the Indian side as he is still not recovered from the injury sustained during the Asia Cup encounter against Pakistan.
Krunal's chances of featuring in the playing XI is higher as Hardik won't be in the side.
Congratulating his brother Hardik showed his happiness on Twitter. “Congratulations on making it to the Indian team bro! Proud of you and love you, @krunalpandya24!”, wrote the 25-year-old Hardik.
The T20 series against Windies begins on November 4 in Kolkata and concludes on November 11 in Chennai after which India depart for Australia – where they will face the hosts in 3 T20I matches.
