Australia's tall paceman Billy Stanlake is feeling refreshed with his recent brilliant outing in the domestic cricket and is eager to take revenge of their Tri-nation T20 International series defeat from Pakistan when they will play the Men in Green in the United Arab Emirates this October.

Stanlake has earned a call-up for the three-match T20I series against Pakistan, starting from October 24 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, following his string of brilliant performances with the ball in Club Cricket, JLT One-Day Cup and T20s for Australia A in India, Pakistan and Zimbabwe and ODIs in England.

Stanlake told cricket.com.au, “It's been a very good winter and the start of the summer now. It's probably the most cricket I've ever played. That's been the biggest thing for me, actually getting that continuity for once, and I've found the more I've played the easier it's getting. I feel like my consistency is getting better the more I play. Hopefully, I can continue that and the body keeps good.”

On their tour of Zimbabwe in July 2018, Australia had the chance to go top of the T20 rankings by winning the final, but Pakistan thrashed the Kangaroos in the 20-over triangular series final in Harare and claimed the number one ranking for themselves.

The lanky pacer believes that it will be a great opportunity for the Australians to take revenge of that defeat by beating the hosts in the UAE.

Stanlake signed off by saying, “It would be nice to pip them this time. Obviously, they're the number one ranked team and we're striving to get to that point. Three big T20s and I think we've got a really strong squad and hopefully, we can pip them.”
