Former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan, who is now a politician, faces serious accusation from his ex-wife Reham Khan in her newly launched book. As per the book 'Rehem Khan', Imran has five illegitimate children and some of them are Indian.
Reham hints about a conversation that she had with her ex-husband regarding Tyrian White, his alleged daughter with Sita White. Imran allegedly told her that Tyrian was not the only one and that he had five other illegitimate children “that he knew of”. Other than her, the book claims that only Jemima Goldsmith, Imran’s first wife, was aware of the “illegitimate” children.
The book was in news even before its release because of various shocking revelation in it. Reham had served legal notice from the former cricketer Wasim Akram and three others. "I have received death threats for releasing the book. I was also threatened to be defamed for the same. This is very depressing but I'm an optimistic person. These things don't pull me down in life," she had said.
"The book is all about my life...the struggles and how I overcame it. After reading my book, many women will find a small part of themselves in it. I hope and pray that all that has happened to me should never happen to anyone. This book showcases how to conduct oneself, overcome failures and what led to my mistakes," she added.
Here is the conversation from which she got to know about Imran's 5 illegitimate kids:
“You know she isn’t the only one I have". He grinned mischievously. There are 5 in total, that I know of”.
“Five what?!" I gasped.
"Kids," he laughed.
"What? You have five illegitimate children! How do you know?” I asked.
“Well, the mothers told me,” he said.
“No, some are Indians. The eldest is 34 now.”
“How Imran? Why did the mother not come out with it?”
“Because she was over the moon! She had been married for ages and couldn’t get pregnant. She was overjoyed, promised to keep it a secret, and begged to keep it. So I said OK.”
“And the rest? Why did they never speak?” I fired at him. There were so many questions in my head.
“Well, because they were all married and they didn’t want their marriages to be destroyed,” he said.
“Does anyone else know?” I asked, still reeling.
“Only Jemima does. I told her,” he replied nonchalantly.
Jemima Goldsmith and Imran Khan were married for nine years from 1995-2004. They have two sons.
