David Warner is going through a really tough phase. The disgraced Australian cricketer is finding it hard to get runs in the on-going Global T20 tournament.
Banned from the Australian team, Warner was named the captain of Winnipeg Hawks after the injured Dwayne Bravo pulled out of the tournament.
Before getting the role of captain, the southpaw had scored just 6 runs in 3 matches. But things didn't change for him even after becoming the captain of the team. He managed to add just 6 runs in two matches, including a zero in one game. Warner has scored just 12 runs in 5 matches till now.
The Hawks skipper is having a bad time in the middle and he tried to motivate himself with an Instagram post. "When things are just not going your way???? Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. “Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome.” Love it. #challenges #lifesabeauty #bringiton," he wrote.
Warner is serving a year-long ban from state and international cricket in Australia for being the instigator in the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.
