Sania Mirza congratulates Shoaib Malik after he gets to 2000 T20I runs

Pakistan all-rounder, Shoaib Malik became the third cricketer to score 2000 runs in T20 cricket while playing against Zimbabwe in the triangular series in Harare. Malik scored unbeaten 37 runs off 24 deliveries to let Pakistan set a huge target for the home team. After reaching the milestone, Shoaib Malik is now only behind Brendon Mccullum and Martin Guptill in the list of top T20I international run-getters. 

His wife and India star Tennis player, Sania Mirza took Twitter to congratulate him, on her Twitter handle she wrote- "Yeah man #Champ #proud @realshoaibmalik,"

Shoaib Malik who has now slammed more than 2000 runs at a batting average of 31.65 is an efficient player for his team. After this triangular series against Zimbabwe and Australia, Pakistan will play a bilateral series with Zimbabwe.

Earlier this month, Shoaib Malik revealed his retirement plans from 50-over cricket after the completion of 2019 World Cup.The veteran cricketer wants to continue his stint in the shortest format of the game.

Shoaib Malik was the part of Pakistan's two major ICC tournaments, one was the World T20 title 2009 and other was ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
