England's wicket-keeper batsman, Jos Buttler hammered an unbeaten 80 runs to assist England beat Pakistan in the second Test at Headingley by an innings and 55 runs to draw the two-match Test series 1-1. Apart from his Match winning knock at Leeds, it was his bat that took all the limelight and headlines. During the match, it was seen that Buttler had written some abusive words on the bottom of his bat's handle during the second Test.

Jos Buttler's action in the second match can put him in danger by International Cricket Council (ICC).

As per the ICC's clothing and equipment rules and orders "Players and team officials shall not be permitted to wear, display or otherwise convey messages through arm bands or other items affixed to clothing or equipment unless approved in advance by both the player or team official's board and the ICC Cricket Operations Department... the ICC shall have the final say in determining whether any such message is approved."

The batsman also explained why did he mark those words on his bat, "I think it's just something that reminds me of what my best mindset is -- when I'm playing cricket and probably in life as well.

The 27-year old cricketer said It puts cricket in perspective. When you 'nick off', does it really matter?". It's just a good reminder when I'm in the middle when I'm questioning myself, and it brings me back to a good place."

Jos Buttler had a delightful return to the Test cricket after 18 long months, he was selected to play against Pakistan and it came off in a positive way.
