KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 84 as Kings XI Punjab won their sixth game of the campaign to lift themselves up to the third place in the points table.

Kings XI had a firm grip on the match right from the outset as their spinners kept a check on the Rajasthan batsmen and took wickets at regular intervals.

Apart from Jos  Buttler's 51 none of the other Rajasthan batsmen got a start. Ben Stokes was superbly dismissed off a rally from Mayank Agarwal to Manoj Tiwary which really turned the game in Kings XI Punjab. At the end, Rajasthan could only muster 152 in their 20 overs.

KXIP in their chase were jolted early as they lost two quick wickets. However, KL Rahul showed maturity and scored an unbeaten 84 to carry his team home.

For the Rajasthan bowlers, it was yet another tough day at the office as four wickets and almost all of their bowlers going the journey.

Rahul continued his good form with the bat for Punjab and Twitterverse credited him duly for his matchwinning knock during the course of the chase. Rajasthan still find themselves at the bottom of the table after yet another defeat in their campaign.

Here are some of the best tweets on the game.
