England’s White-ball skipper Eoin Morgan has named to Sky Sports his “formidable” squad of the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 on Thursday (3 May).

With the 2018 edition of IPL crossing the halfway mark of the tournament, many players have shown their excellence with both the willow and the ball and many even failed to make an impact, as well as, the tournament witnessed to a number of riveting encounters so far in the IPL11.

However, Morgan has also picked the best players in his dream XI for the IPL 2018 who have the ability to beat the best in the business, and according to him “this a pretty formidable, and a very strong squad.”

His batting department looks fearsome with the likes of Ambati Rayudu, Suryakumar Yadav, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Andre Russell and KL Rahul, who give the batting line up a world-class and unbeatable look.

Meanwhile, Morgan has also picked premier IPL bowlers in his bowling lineup with the likes of spinners Rashid Khan and Sunil Narine, while picked five quality fast-bowlers Trent Boult, Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah, Siddharth Kaul and Andrew Tye in the line-up.

Here is Morgan’s squad for the IPL 2018:

Ambati Rayudu, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shane Watson, MS Dhoni, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, Andrew Tye, Siddarth Kaul, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Jofra Archer

Sadly, Morgan being one of the best T20 players of the modern era went unsold this season.
