Indian Cricket Team has a lot of challenges ahead this year. One such stiff ask is the full tour of England later in the summer after the Indian Premier League 2018. India plays 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs before a gruelling five-Test series.
The tour starts from July 1 and ends on September 11, meaning India has a month of break in June to start preparing for the tour. And so, Zaheer Khan, the former India fast-bowler, believes that India has enough time to plan and prepare. He thinks they can win in England this time.
Talking about the same, Zaheer was quoted saying in the TOI as, "There will be more than enough time to get used to the conditions. It certainly will give you enough time to get yourself acclimatised. Most players are playing in more than one format and the key players will get used to wickets and conditions,"
He further added, "One thing with England is the weather is not consistent. In overcast conditions, the ball is going to swing. At the end of the day, you need the right frame of mind and the right technique to deal with it as a bowler or batsman,"
Zaheer thinks the dryish conditions later in the English summer, can help India.
He said, "The weather is consistent around that time and the wickets may be on the drier side because the sun will be out,"
