The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Tuesday (February 27) announced the India A and India B squads for Deodhar Trophy 2018, slated to be held in Dharamsala from 4th March to 8th March.
The two teams will lock horns against Karnataka, the winners of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017-18. Earlier in the day, Karun Nair led Karnataka side beat Saurashtra by 41 runs at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi to lift the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
India’s seasoned off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been shouldered with the responsibility to lead the India A side while Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer will captain the India B team.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee also named the Rest of India squad for Irani Cup 2018, scheduled to be played in Nagpur from 14th March to 18th March. The Rest of India team will compete against Vidarbha, the winners of the Ranji Trophy 2017-18.
Earlier this year, Vidarbha had beaten Delhi by 9 wickets to lift the Ranji Trophy 2017-18. Karun Nair will lead the Rest of the India team.
