Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan rise up in the ICC T20I rankings after SA series

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who won the Man of the Series in the recently concluded three match T20I series against South Africa and opener Shikhar Dhawan, who played an important part in all the three matches in the series, gained significant points in the latest ICC T20I rankings.

Shikhar Dhawan who made 143 runs in three matches reached career best 28th spot after jumping 14 places. Kumar on the other hand reached 12th spot after gaining 20 places in the ICC T20I rankings.

In the ICC T20I Team Rankings, India has gained one point and South Africa have lost one point. They have retained their third and seventh spot respectively, as Pakistan stays at no.1, marginally ahead of Australia.

Afghan leg spinner Rashid Khan, who is the joint no 1 bowler in the ICC ODI bowlers rankings, moved to the no 1 spot in ICC T20I bowlers ranking as well. Colin Munro of New Zealand retained his position as the no. 1 T20I batsman.
