One of most adored celebrity couples i.e. the heartthrob of Indian cricket Virat Kohli and Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma are all set to take their relationship to a different level. Yes, you read it right – the lovebirds are planning to tie knot with each other in the second week of December this year.

If the reports in India Today are to be believed, the tentative dates for wedding are December 9, 10, 11 and 12 and the Indian skipper might leave for Italy tomorrow.

The report also suggests that Anushka Sharma's bridal wear will be designed by fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Just a week ago, Mukherjee was seen exiting from the Anushka's house.

An Italian wedding is in the offing for the cricketer and the Bolly queen. Sources reveal that Virat's friends and family have already booked a place in the ‘land of divine art’ for the wedding. The wedding is expected to take place in Milan and the entire occasion is likely to be private.

Report further suggests that the couple's friends will be invited to a reception on December 21, which is to take place in Mumbai.

Kohli is fairly open about his much talked about relationship with the actress. In fact, the daring captain of Team India was the one who makes their relationship official by posting an image of him alongside Anushka on social photo site Instagram during the Valentine’s Day earlier this year.

Like all cricketers, Virat went through a lean patch in 2014, during India's tour to England. The Indian batsman failed to score runs throughout that series and questions were being raised on his technique too. But his partner Anushka stood by him and he came out good in Australia in the next series.

"Luckily I have never tried to change myself over the years. But the flip has been because of her. That period in England in 2014. Anushka was there in my life, she understood what I was going through so she kept me motivated," Kohli had said in Gaurav Kapur’s talk show 'Breakfast with Champions'.

"Her support helped me push through, however bad it was for me. She was a constant in that time... And then Australia happened (the tour in 2014-15 when Kohli scored four hundreds in four Tests) and I ended up scoring runs, in her presence. So it was a special thing for both of us because she also faced a lot of flak.

"We were being criticised and people were saying this is what happens when you allow girlfriends on the tour. I thought if you don't think this is right then no one can be in a relationship". According to you all - either get married or remain single. How can that be?” he further added.
