England’s ace all-rounder Ben Stokes, who is having terrible time lately owing to his involvement in the infamous street brawl incident outside a night club at Bristol, is all set to marry his long time fiancée Clare Ratcliffe on Saturday (October 14). Stokes is in the relationship with Clare for last seven years and the couple will tie the knot at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Somerset, at 12 noon this weekend.
Following the marriage, the reception is expected to take place at the 16th-century Rookery Manor which has the capacity to accommodate nearly 400 guests. Ratcliffe revealed the news through her official Instagram account.
Taking to social media site Instagram, Stokes’ fiancé posted a picture of the cricketer putting up their daughter’s bag and captioned it as: “FOUR WEEKS TODAY...I marry this man! The man wearing a Little Mermaid backpack! â¤ï¸ðŸ˜‚”

Subsequent to the ugly brawl at Bristol, Stokes and his team-mate Alex Hales were snubbed from the fourth ODI against Windies in London as they had to cooperate with the police in the investigation process.
Things turned worse for the maverick all-rounder after the video footage obtained by The Sun went viral. The footage apparently shows Stokes swearing and throwing punches at two men in a nasty face-off in the early hours of September 25 (Monday). In the close to a minute long video, Hales can be seen trying to calm stokes down by repeatedly saying "Enough, Stokes"
England and Wales Cricket Board later released a statement saying that both the cricketers won't be considered for selection until further notice, thereby putting a massive question mark on Stokes’ participation in the forthcoming Ashes series, slated to start from November 23 at Gabba.
