
Pakistan bowling all-rounder, Imad Wasim, who received the best T20 player of the year award at the PCB Awards last night in Lahore, revealed that his main goal is to become the number one all-rounder.
The 28-year-old further added that he is just focusing on being the best not getting married or settle down when asked if he intends to marry and settle down, saying, “I am not getting married.”

Recently, Imad has taken part in the Independence Day Cup against the ICC World XI, who lost the series as Pakistan won the series 2-1 on 15 September.
At PCB Awards 2017, Imad Wasim said, “My aim is to become the number one all-rounder, a bowler is just a bonus, so my aim is to become the best all-rounder in the world.”
However, the PCB chairman Najam Sethi had made efforts in convincing the former cricketers to mark their presence in Independence Cup as well as the award function, but Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan didn’t attend the star-studded PCB event that was attended by many former greats.

According to a report in Dawn, PCB head Sethi had said, “We are hoping that all the three great cricketers will attend the function to further grace the occasion of the Independence Cup. We wanted to hold the function during an international series and now it is a perfect time to honor the great retired captains when 14 world-class players will be in Lahore.”
Imad Wasim has played 26 ODIs and 21 T20Is and took 26 and 24 wickets respectively.
