
Jasprit Bumrah is one of the finest death bowlers in recent times in World Cricket. Two years since his international debut, Bumrah has developed himself into one of the most consistent death over bowlers.
In the recent episode of the webisode series What the Duck, Bumrah revealed the secret of his consistency with yorkers. Be it for Team India or for his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians he delivers yorkers with immaculate consistency and accuracy.

When asked about how he developed the art, Bumrah said he did not do anything differently besides following the legend Wasim Akram in his earlier days.

“So I always thought as a kid that if I have to take wickets then yorker is the only option. When you are a kid, you cannot always go out and play. So during the hot afternoons, we had a big hall. What I used to do there is, I will try and hit the base of the wall. If you bowl there, there won’t be any noise and you can play for a longer period of time,” recalled Bumrah according to the video.
