The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Junior Cricket Committee, on October 30, announced the India U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026 tournament. Ex-India captains Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag’s sons Anvay Dravid and Aaryavir Sehwag, respectively, were included in the 15-member squad.
The upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup is to be played in Muscat, Oman, from 5th to 14th November. India is in Group A with the UAE, Nepal, and Pakistan. Two teams, each from Group A and Group B (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Malaysia), will reach the semi-final on 12th November. The final is scheduled for Saturday, 14th November.
The India U19 squad will be captained by Lakshya Raichandani, with Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan being his deputy. This team comprises some very talented young players like Aaryavir Sehwag, VK Vineeth, Kushagra Ojha, Arjun Rajput, and Manal Chauhan, all of whom will be looking forward to making a name for themselves in continental cricket.
While Anvay Dravid and Rajat Baghel have been selected as the two wicketkeepers for the team, V. Yashveer, Aryan Savsani, Mohit Ulva, Kavya Patel, Shavin Vinod, and Ishan Sood form the rest of the squad.
