Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq have found themselves in deep trouble after reports stated that the two Pakistan stars were summoned by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) as part of a probe into alleged team leaks.

This was after Rizwan and Imam were part of the seven Pakistan cricketers who were sent back from the ongoing England Test series by PCB after the Green Shirts lost the first two Tests.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) seized the players' cell phones and turned them over to the appropriate authorities, according to a report in Geo News.

Both players received notifications on Monday requesting them to show up at the NCCIA's Lahore office on Friday, according to sources who spoke with the Pakistani media site. According to reports, they will be asked to unlock their phones so that investigators can use the devices to gather information for their investigation.

The report said the investigation is linked to “alleged dressing-room leaks during Pakistan’s ongoing series against England." A third Pakistan cricketer has also reportedly received a notice from the NCCIA.

There has yet to be any official statement by the PCB on the investigation or an explanation of why the players’ phones were taken into custody.

Apart from Rizwan and Imam, Salman Ali Agha, Ali Usman, Aamer Jamal, Owais Zafar, and Khurram Shahzad were also sent back by the PCB, while head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul were relieved of their duties.
