Rahul Dravid’s son Anvay included in India's U19 squad for one-day series in Sri Lanka

India U19 will play 3 one-dayers and 2 multi-day matches in Sri Lanka in July.

Rahul Dravid and Anvay Dravid | XFormer India captain and head coach Rahul Dravid would be a proud father as his son Anvay Dravid was named in the India U19 squad for the one-day series in Sri Lanka on June 11, 2026. The youngster is a right-handed batter and a wicket-keeper.

The U19 teams of India and Sri Lanka will play three one-dayers from July 4-9 in Hambantota. The India U19 team will also play two multi-day games on July 13 in Galle and July 20 in Colombo.

Anvay Dravid has played one U19 one-day game for India B against Afghanistan U19 in November 2025 in Bengaluru. Anvay has been a member of the Karnataka age-group organization, captaining his state in tournaments such as the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and putting in performances that have established him as a player to watch.

As a wicketkeeper-batsman, he debuted at the 2023-24 Vijay Merchant Trophy, where he scored the most runs for his state. He scored 357 runs in five matches at an average of 45, including four half-centuries. He also led the U-14 state league scoring chart while playing for Vijaya Cricket Club.

Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan has been named captain of the India U19 squads for both one-day and multi-day series, with Lakshya Raichandani as his deputy. Apart from Anvay, Rajat Bhaghel is the second keeper in the one-day squad.
