“His fees may increase to INR 1 crore plus”- Report states brand lining up to sign Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after bumper IPL 2026 season

Sooryavanshi made 776 runs in IPL 2026 at a strike rate of 237.30 with one ton and 5 fifties.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi | BCCI-IPLVaibhav Sooryavanshi might see his brand value increase manifold after a bumper IPL 2026 season for the Rajasthan Royals. Sooryavanshi hammered 776 runs in 16 games for RR, with a strike rate of 237.30, with one century and five fifties. He also hit a record 72 sixes in the season, breaking Chris Gayle’s record of 59 sixes in the 2012 IPL.

This performance has not only made Vaibhav the newest face of the league but also turned him into the new cash king, with more than a dozen brands lining up to sign him. These brands span categories including sports drinks, cricket bats, nutrition products, and high-performance footwear labels.

Sooryavanshi was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during the IPL 2026 and sat alongside ICC Chairman Jay Shah. He also won five trophies — Orange Cap, Super Striker, Most Sixes, Emerging Player, and MVP.

A gap in the sponsorship market caused by the relative absence of reliable performers among well-known celebrities like Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya has also been linked to the increase in his market worth.

Brands are queuing to sign him for first-mover advantage — he has a long career ahead of him — and there is also a vacuum among bankable Indian cricketers at the moment, with some big names failing to perform. Also, unlike earlier, when deals ran for 3–5 years, brands now prefer 2–3-year contracts so they can reassess based on form,” Economic Times report stated.

According to the report, Sooryavanshi's commercial status has been greatly enhanced by the breakthrough IPL season. His endorsement value has increased by 100%, from INR 50 lakh to INR 1 crore per contract.

However, Rajasthan Royals are anticipated to play a more active part in controlling Sooryavanshi's rising brand profile because he is only 15 years old and just beginning his professional career. Early endorsements are probably going to stay in line with his on-field journey and be age-appropriate.

In addition to his current contract with Zydus Wellness' Complan, he has appeared in Google Pay advertisements.

His fees, at about INR 50 lakh per deal, may increase to the INR 1 crore-plus bracket, but that will depend on negotiations and how much exposure his family is comfortable with, considering his age,” said the marketing head of a brand in talks with his management.

“Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has emerged as one of the most exciting young faces in Indian cricket at a time when several established names are nearing the twilight of their careers. Brands will naturally want to associate with him, but Rajasthan Royals are likely to be selective about the endorsements he takes up,” the report concluded.

Sooryavanshi will now turn his focus to one-day cricket, after being included in the India A squad for the one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka, also featuring Afghanistan A. He might also be fast-tracked into India’s T20I squad for the tour of the UK, where India plays two T20Is against Ireland and five against England.
