Harbhajan Singh got super angry at a fan after he mocked him by calling him jealous of fellow off-spinner R Ashwin. This happened when Harbhajan Singh was doing Hindi commentary for the IPL 2026 opening game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 28.
Social media trolls made fun of Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Navjot Singh Sidhu throughout the RCB-SRH game for their Hindi commentary. The Turbanator, Harbhajan Singh, did not respond to the majority of tweets on X (previously Twitter) on Saturday.
However, on Sunday, the former Indian spinner lost his temper and responded to several users who had made disparaging remarks about him and his colleagues.
One user said that former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop is far superior to Harbhajan, Sehwag, and Sidhu, using foul language.
“Ian Bishop is more Indian than these chapri Hindi commentators,” the fan posted.
Replying to the user, Harbhajan shot back and made fun of the user's X handle name, saying, “हाथी चले बाज़ार । कुत्ते भोंके हज़ार । चल निकल यहाँ से Tomy . Not Homie (The elephant walks through the market. Dogs bark a thousand times. Get out of here, Tomy. Not Homie.)”
The issue didn't stop there; in a new message, the user claimed that Harbhajan was envious of Ashwin's career and warned the former India spinner to concentrate on his commentary or risk disappearing.
Harbhajan Singh replied: “कुत्ते को घी नहीं पचता और तेरे जैसे लोंडू को जवाब हज़म नहीं हुआ । चल बे टोमी (Dogs can't digest ghee, and a loser like you can't stomach the reply. Get lost, Tommy)”
Another fan has posted a photo of Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, and Aakash Chopra and called them "Clowns".

Last year, Harbhajan Singh had appeared on a podcast with R Ashwin, and the two off-spinners talked about the jealousy factor.
Harbhajan asked Ashwin, "Do you think I am jealous of you? You are sitting with me today, and we have spoken at length. Do you think I am that kind of person?”
Harbhajan Singh picked up 417 wickets in 103 Tests for India, while Ashwin ended his Test career with 537 wickets in 106 games.
