The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on November 28, 2025, announced the India U19 squad for the upcoming Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 tournament. The tournament will start on December 12 in Dubai.
India has been placed in Group A with Pakistan and two qualifying teams. On the other hand, Group B sees Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka with another qualifying team.
India U19 will play Qualifier 1 on December 12 at the ICC Academy and then will play Pakistan on December 14 at the same venue. India will then face Qualifier 3 on December 16 at the Sevens venue.
The first semi-final of the tournament will be played on December 19 at the ICC Academy, and the second semi-final will be played on December 19 at the Sevens. The final of the tournament will be played on December 21.
Coming to the India U19 squad, Ayush Mhatre has been named captain of the team, while Vihaan Malhotra will be the vice-captain. Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been named in the India U19 squad as well.
Kishan Kumar Singh has been included, subject to fitness clearance. The board also named four standby players: Rahul Kumar, Hemchudeshan J, BK Kishore, and Aditya Rawat.
