On Friday morning, Virat Kohli's brother Vikas posted a confusing Instagram Story in which he sarcastically attacked the disinformation and fake news circulating.
The social media statement came as allegations surfaced that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had made their move to the UK permanent.
According to News18, Virat Kohli gave his brother Vikas the General Power of Attorney for his Rs 80 crore Gurugram mansion. The Power of Attorney grants Kohli's brother full authority over all property-related matters, including maintenance and potential sales, while Virat is gone.
The decision apparently aroused speculation about the couple's long-term ambitions to relocate abroad.
Meanwhile, Anushka and their children, Vamika and Akaay, have been living in London since early this year. When not playing cricket, Kohli has been spotted spending time with his family in and around the British capital.
In the Instagram Story, Vikas - who goes by vk0681 - wrote, "I am not surprised about so much misinformation and fake news going around these days.... Some people are so free and have lots of time to do so... Good luck to you guys."
