Ziva cheering for Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya is a very popular member of Indian cricket team. Fans adore him for his all-round skills and his uncanny ability to change the course of the game. And now it seems that another name has joined Pandya’s enriched admirers list. This one is special because it’s none other than the three-year-old Ziva – the daughter of legendary India captain, MS Dhoni.

During the second T20I against Ireland on Friday (June 30), the adorable Ziva was seen cheering for Pandya by chanting: “Come on… Come on Hardik”.

Pandya himself shared the video on Instagram after the match and captioned it as: “Oh I think that I found myself a cheerleader ???? ???????????????????? @zivasinghdhoni006 ????❤️????Video courtesy: @sakshisingh_r.”

A combined effort by India's batsmen and bowlers thrashed a hapless Ireland by 143 runs to clinch the T20I series 2-0 at the Village, Dublin on Friday.

After being put into bat, India lost their skipper Virat Kohli early but the duo of KL Rahul (70 runs off 36 balls) and Suresh Raina (69 runs off 45 balls) added a 122-run stand for the second wicket to bail the team out of trouble.

Hardik Pandya (32* off 9 balls) and Pandey (21*) together provided further impetus as the Men in Blue eventually finished with a daunting score of 213/4 in their stipulated 20 overs.

In reply, Ireland once again failed to stand up to the challenge of India's pacers and spinners, who were once again bowled accurate and tight lengths, denying the Irish batsmen to score freely.

For India, spinners Yuzvendra Chahal (3 for 21) and Kuldeep Yadav (3 for 16) continued their red-hot form while Kaul (1 for 4) and Pandya (1 for 10) claimed wicket apiece. Umesh Yadav also scalped 2 for 19 in his 2 overs as India bundled out the hosts for a paltry 70 in 12.3 overs to register the biggest victory in T20I cricket (in terms of runs).
