The IPL 2018 victory by Chennai Super Kings was their third title in as many as 11 seasons. After winning it back to back in 2010 and 2011 they won it again this year. In between, they won the Champions League title in 2014 before being relegated from the league for two years in 2016 and 2017.
They came back with a bang and capped off a memorable season with a memorable win against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finale. To remember their incredible journey their team manager Russell Radhakrishnan got himself a tattoo of the team, which also displayed the years of their success. He took to Twitter and uploaded the same on Twitter with a message which read, “Finally so pleased about my new tattoo, CSK always close to my heart.”
Important to note here that CSK finished the league stage in the second place. Then they won the first Qualifier and eventually the final against SRH. MS Dhoni had a memorable season with the bat scoring 455 runs and leading his team fantastically well as he showed his tremendous leading skills as well.
Here is the tweet shared by CSK's team manager.
