
Rajasthan Royals who returned to Indian Premier League after a two years suspension, did a good job reaching the playoffs of IPL 2018 and their journey came to an end in the Eliminator when they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders.
Rajasthan Royals finished at the fourth position in IPL 2018 with seven wins from fifteen games. The lack of penetration and middle order's power hitting abilities were the achillies' heel for Rajasthan Royals throughout the season. And also the absence of star players Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes hurt them in the last two games.
Captain Rahane couldn't not provide them quick start in the power plays and Sanju Samson too lost his form after the first three - four games. In the bowling department, both Jaydev Unadkat and Dhawal Kulkarni were among the biggest disappointment of this IPL season.
Jofra Archer who didn't play first five games due to injury was the only one who showed some consistency. Overall it was a satisfying season for Rajasthan Royals.
