Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Siddharth Kaul has so far given many extraordinary performances with the ball in the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.
In the successful run of table-toppers SRH in the ongoing IPL 2018, the 27-year-old has played a vital role, picked up 13 wickets in 11 matches at a miserly Economy rate of 7.50. While his stunning show in the tournament awarded him an Indian Cricket Team call for the upcoming Ireland and England tour.
At the moment, Kaul looks a complete bowling package with his great execution skills, especially in the death overs, and being there along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan makes Hyderabad the most potent and dangerous bowling line-up in the tournament.
Recently, the medium pacer revealed the reason behind his successful season with SRH in the ongoing IPL 2018 during a candid chat with Press Trust of India on Friday (11 May).
Kaul stated, “I am elated on my selection in the Indian team. The good wishes of my parents and my hard work of over the years have paid off. My role in Sunrisers set-up has been well defined and that has helped me perform. Hopefully, I can continue my good form in India colors also.”
Hopefully, Siddharth will succeed in making an impact to justify the national selectors’ trust during the upcoming overseas tour, as well as, make the way for his future with the Indian cricket.
Now, Kane Williamson led Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in their IPL 2018 encounter on 13 May (Sunday) at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
