AB De Villiers' quickfire 68 coupled with Quinton de Kock's 53 took RCB to 205 for 8 after their 20 overs. De Villiers was at his very best, decimating the CSK bowlers to all around the park as he hit 2 fours and 8 sixes in his innings. Mandeep Singh's quickfire cameo (32) at the end along with Washington Sundar's 13* from 4 balls helped RCB reach the 200 mark.
For Chennai Super Kings, Imran Tahir and Dwayne Bravo bowled double-wicket overs as RCB lost the plot in the end overs in a comedy of errors.
CSK now need 206 for victory when they start their chase, which will be a record chase at the ground.
