Shane Watson of Chennai Super Kings played a wonderful inning of 106 runs to lead his team to a huge total. Watson registered second IPL century for this season as yesterday it was Chris Gayle to do so. Shane Watson was brilliant from the start of the innings till the end. He pounded Rajasthan bowlers very badly with hitting them everywhere out of the park.

Due to his knock, Chennai Super Kings were able to obtain a tremendous score on the board. His partnership with Suresh Raina was also very effective in terms of their enormous scoring boundaries abilities.

Jaydev, Stokes, and Binny going the journey

Rajasthan bowlers would definitely like to forget this game and focus on their next battle. They were bashed repeatedly by Shane Watson until he got out. Some renowned bowlers like Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Stokes, and Stuart Binny conceded most of the runs and were cruelly beaten by Watson smashing them all over the park.

On the other hand, Shreyas Gopal the leg-spinner of Rajasthan had a very economical day at work. He only let go 20 runs off his 4 overs quota. Those figures were quite impressive in comparison to the other bowlers.

Lacklustre fielding by the Royals

Another reason for Rajasthan's loss is their fielding in today's match. Rajasthan had a very sloppy fielding while bowling first in the match they were expected to save runs but that did not happen for them. They were a bit careless today on the field with few catches of Shane Watson been dropped by Tripathi several times cost them the match.

Rahul Tripathi dropped Watson on several occasion due to which Chennai had a heavy total on the board and maybe him dropping Watto few times was the reason why Rajasthan lost the game.

Rajasthan top order failure

Stokes played a lone hand scoring 45. (IANS)
Chasing 200 and plus is a heavy task, Rajasthan batsmen needed to stick on the crease and keep the scoreboard ticking but in return, they fall off early at a crucial stage. Chennai bowlers hit the right deck to get Rajasthan's top order.

After the first power play, Rajasthan was cramped for 35 runs with 3 wickets already down. They will surely like to step with a good performance in their next outing. Sanju Samson again failed to deliver for his team, given the fact that he is a very good batsman.

CSK's first win at Pune

The MS Dhoni led team tasted their first win at Pune, their new home ground for the season. (IANS)

Chennai has started their journey at Pune in a very positive manner after beating the Rajasthan Royals by 64 runs. It was an incredible day for the people who travelled to Pune just to sport their favourite team. Pune cricket ground was fully spread with a magic of yellow colour and CSK made it sure that they don't let their fans down in any manner.

Rajasthan needs to learn from their mistakes whereas Chennai Super Kings will fly to Hyderabad for their next battle.
