Chennai Super Kings (CSK)'s homecoming became more special with the presence of MS Dhoni's daughter Ziva Dhoni. While the men in yellow were sweating out on the field for a win, Ziva was spotted in the stands cheering for them.
Ziva, who turned 3 in February, visited the stadium with her mother, Sakshi Dhoni. The little princess was gifted a win by his dad's team.
Dinesh Karthik-led side Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) set a target of 203 runs for CSK. The Dhoni's squad won the match by crushing KKR by 4 wickets and easily scored the target.
However, Dhoni couldn't star in that victory as his bat remained silent throughout the chase. It was Sam Billings' masterclass which made the second win possible for the Chennai franchise.
CSK had conceded 202 runs bowling first. Things could have been different had the beast, Andre Russell, not scored runs for KKR. He alone toyed with Chennai bowling attack and scored a 36-ball-88.
Chennai now tops the table with 4 points after the win on Tuesday. They will next play Kings XI Punjab on April 15 on Mohali.
