Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab pranked their fans with the help of Virender Sehwag on April Fool's Day. On Sunday morning, the KXIP website posted a story which delighted their fans and it was about the return of Sehwag in IPL.
KXIP announced on Sunday that the former India cricketer will be back in action replacing Aaron Finch in the Punjab squad.

However, some fans had the April Fool's Day in their mind and managed to crack the prank. While others were convinced after Yuvraj Singh too joined the fun and tweeted that Sehwag is gearing up for their first IPL 2018 match against Delhi Daredevils at Mohali on April 8.

Sehwag later posted a video thanking fans and confessing it was a prank.
