Virat Kohli refused to shoot an ad with a leading Bollywood actress.

Virat Kohli refused to shoot an ad with Deepika Padukone causing RCB to lose a 11 cr deal

The Royal Challengers Bangalore were supposed to enter into a huge deal with travel website Goibibo.com worth Rs 11 cr. However, the deal broke through in between negotiations and reason reported was Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli reportedly refused to shoot for an ad commercial with Goibibo.com’s face Deepika Padukone. This caused Goibibo.com to cancel the deal, since RCB was unable to provide Virat for the ad shoot.

Virat Kohli doesn’t have any personal issues with Deepika Padukone, but his RCB contract had a clause which stated he couldn't share commercial space with other celebrities.

Goibibo wanted Kohli to shoot the ad with Deepika as part of their brand activation; however their demand was found 'beyond the terms of his IPL contract'.
