Ahead of the must-win game for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Gujarat Titans (GT), GT pacer Mohammed Siraj was seen having some fun at the expense of Faf du Plessis. While GT needs one more win to qualify for the playoffs of the IPL 2025, DC needs to win all their remaining matches.
Ahead of the game, both teams were seen practicing at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where Faf du Plessis was sweating it out in the nets. In a hilarious moment, GT pacer Mohammed Siraj walked behind the nets and started shadow batting, mimicking Du Plessis’ unique batting stance and style.
Siraj, who is renowned for his furious outbursts and sporadic off-field antics, was seen intently observing du Plessis hone his power-hitting technique during practice.
In a brief video that the Gujarat Titans posted on social media. Siraj chose to mimic the seasoned batter's trademark stance out of pure amusement, even performing a few shadow shots with a fictitious draw.
He wrapped up his brief act with an admiring remark: “Uff! Crazy man.”
