Virat Kohli and KL Rahul engaged in a heated altercation during the IPL 2025 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday (April 27).
The incident took place in the RCB innings with Kohli at the crease and Rahul keeping wickets. In a video doing rounds on social media, both stars of the Indian cricket team were seen having a verbal duel.
While the exact reason behind their argument was not known, the tension was palpable between the two before play resumed. However, there was nothing more to the episode as both of them went back to perform their roles without any further confrontation.
Here’s the video:
Coming to the match, RCB defeated DC by six wickets to claim the pole position on the 10-team points table.
Chasing 163 to win, RCB rode on half-centuries from Krunal Pandya (73 not out of 47 balls) and Virat Kohli (51 off 47) to overhaul the target with nine deliveries to spare.
For RCB, it was their seventh win in 10 games while DC suffered only their third loss in nine outings. Both teams are on course to make the playoffs.
