Sunil Gavaskar, a former Indian cricketer and batting great, was seen joking around ahead of Thursday's Indian Premier League 2025 match between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Rajasthan Royals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The former cricketer, who is now a commentator and broadcast guru, was spotted having a good time before the game, playing with Champak, the robot dog that makes frequent appearances at the toss.
Several cricketers, including Axar Patel and MS Dhoni, have been spotted engaging with the robot during their games, and the video has gone viral on social media.
In a video posted on the IPL's official social media account, Gavaskar can be seen playing with a robot dog that mimics the renowned cricketer's actions.
