Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are currently facing each other in Match 23 of the IPL 2025 season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Ahead of the match, there was a lot of anticipation for the Shubman Gill versus Jofra Archer contest and the RR pace spearhead made a statement by cleaning up the GT captain with a beauty.
During the third over, Archer bowled a full delivery around off, which drew Gill into the forward push. The lanky opener was a tad late on the shot as the 147.7 kmph thunderbolt knocked over his off-stump.
It was an early jolt for the Titans as Gill walked back to the pavilion for just 2 runs. His dismissal brought Jos Buttler to the crease.
