Virat Kohli failed to make a mark in RCB’s IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday (April 2).

The star batter was dismissed by GT pacer Arshad Khan for just 7 runs. Arshad bowled a short of length delivery at the body and Kohli was cramped on the pull, resulting in an easy catch for Prasidh Krishna at deep backward square leg.

After Kohli’s early dismissal, his fans on social media platform Instagram vented out their anger by targeting the wrong Arshad. Several negative comments were seen in the official account of Arshad Warsi, renowned Bollywood actor.

Chasing 170, the Titans got over the line with eight wickets in hand and 13 deliveries to spare. Jos Buttler starred with the bat as he scored 73* off 39 balls, while Sai Sudharsan (49 off 36) and Sherfane Rutherford (30* off 18) made notable contributions with the bat.

Coming to the match, GT produced an excellent all-round performance in the away fixture to defeat RCB by eight wickets.

Riding on Mohammed Siraj’s stunning bowling figures (3 for 19 in 4 overs), the Titans restricted RCB to 169/8 in 20 overs.
