Gujarat Titans (GT) head coach Ashish Nehra was left infuriated in their IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday (March 29).
The 2022 champions failed to capitalize on their good start and could only put up 196 on the board for the loss of eight wickets.
GT were 170/3 at 17 overs and was primed to finish with 200+ total. However, their middle and lower order collapsed in the final two overs of the game, either handing catches in the deep or getting run out.
Nehra, who was witnessing the action from the sidelines, screamed at his batters as the side lost 5 wickets in the last 13 balls of the game.

Earlier, the Titans got off to a fabulous start as the duo of captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan added 78 runs for the opening wicket.
After Gill’s dismissal on 38, Sudharsan (63) forged a 51-run stand with Jos Buttler (39). However, rest of the batters failed to rise to the occasion as GT’s innings was restricted to 196/8 in 20 overs.
